Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland

We are part of the Vineyard movement of churches, which is rooted in the charismatic renewal and historic evangelicalism. Instead of the mainstream charismatic label, however, Vineyard prefers the term ‘Empowered Evangelicals’ - a people of Word and Spirit.

The Vineyard Movement is a worldwide network of over 1,500 churches, led in its earliest years by the late John Wimber. The Vineyard Movement is committed to seeing each generation reached by the power of the Gospel.

Vineyard churches root their theology in Jesus’ teaching on the kingdom of God, embracing an ‘inaugurated eschatology’ – where God’s beautiful future is breaking into our present experience.
